About The Position
InZiv was founded in 2018 to address the critical quality assurance needs facing today’s most advanced display manufacturers, by developing highly specialized testing and inspection equipment using proprietary nanoscale optics and metrology. The company’s portfolio extends to microLED, OLED and QLED technologies with the goal of providing state of the art tools for improving the manufacturing process and lowering production costs.
We are growing (!) and seeking a professional and passionate Physicist to join our team.
In this position, you will report to the VP of R&D and will be working closely with our customers throughout the sales demonstration process: analyzing customer samples, testing the samples in order to obtain relevant measurements, producing compelling summary reports of the resulting data, and interfacing with customers as needed. In parallel, you will contribute to the ongoing research and development efforts of our product line.
Responsibilities
- Research and characterize a variety of electro-optical devices.
- Help develop unique optical and electro-optical testing and inspection methodologies.
- Demonstrate product capabilities for customers and prepare detailed results reports.
- Collaborate with different R&D disciplines to improve and develop the product based on compiled measurements and customer feedback.
- Conduct thorough testing and integration of advanced equipment.
- Lead investigations of physical problems.
- Provide customer training and technical support both online and at the customer site.
- Be part of an R&D development team working on state-of-the-art electro-optical testing and characterization.
Requirements
- BSc or higher in Electro-optics Engineering or Experimental Physics.
- A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in multi-disciplinary systems and the semiconductor field.
- Expertise in electro-optical systems and a deep understanding of optics principles, with experience in fields such as electro-optics, microscopy, lasers, detectors, optical alignments, and measurements.
- Ability to work both in a team and independently.
- Detail-oriented and a problem solver.
- High level of spoken and written English.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic startup environment.
- Availability to travel abroad.
