About The Position

InZiv was founded in 2018 to address the critical quality assurance needs facing today’s most advanced display manufacturers, by developing highly specialized inspection equipment using proprietary nanoscale optics and metrology. The company’s portfolio extends to microLED, QLED and OLED technologies with the goal of providing state of the art tools for improving the manufacturing process, lowering production costs, and enabling greater access to the use of these displays by all consumers. 

We are growing (!) and seeking our brand-new System Engineer. In this position, you will report to the VP of Product and Engineering and co-lead the development and production of one of the most complex multi-disciplinary systems in the Semiconductors industry.  

The chosen candidate is not afraid to get his hands dirty, loves a good challenge and to build complex things from scratch.  

 

Responsibilities  

  • Lead, develop, and execute a complex multi-disciplinary system with a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design. 
  • Lead collaboration with in-house stakeholders and outsource service providers to understand their business requirements, while managing the project implementation & coordinating in accordance with timeline. 
  • Lead design reviews and provide input to meet market requirement specifications and hardware/software specifications. 
  • Plan and lead Homologation process to receive relevant certifications (UL/NRTL; CB; EMC/FCC; CE; SEMI).  
  • Coordinate and align with IT infrastructure with established standards and policies and perform system and security patch management. 
  • Perform upgrade planning, process creation, documentation on systems design and standard operating procedures. 
  • Develop & manage the plan for disaster recovery and business continuity aspects of the system. 
  • Bring a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions and solve complex problems and drive resolution of key issues with Engineering. 
  • Create concepts for complex architectural design approaches. Lead team evaluations of architectures to provide recommendations for best system solution approach. 
  • Problem identification and troubleshooting a wide range of difficult, complex engineering problems. 
  • Support System Integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs. 
  • Own the generation and maintenance of detailed test plans based on specifications, outlining validation experiments and procedures. 

Requirements

  • Hardware / Electrical / Electronics Engineer.  
  • At least 7 years of experience as a hands-on Engineer in the above fields in relevant industries.  
  • At least 7 years of experience as a System Engineer of multi-disciplinary systems.  
  • Successfully led at least one multi-disciplinary product from SRR to mass production. 
  • Experience in homologation and certification processes.  
  • Familiar with FPGA and LabView. 
  • Experience in all SW needs along with the end user interface needs and how to achieve them at the GUI level.  
  • Familiar with clean rooms.  
  • Familiar with security aspects and their effect on the smooth functioning of the system.  
  • Background in robotics and automated systems.  
  • Knowledge of micron and nanometric accuracy systems.  
  • Experience in electro-optical systems.
  • Experience in the Semiconductor industry.
  • High level of spoken and written English.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic startup environment.
